Shia LaBeouf was arrested at 4am Saturday for allegedly getting out of control while intoxicated in Georgia, TMZ reports.

According to the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department, LaBeouf, 31, was arrested around 4 am and released after posting a $7,000 bond. He then "became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language" when one was not made available. The allegedly drunken star refused, and even began to act aggressively toward the police officer.

When authorities tried to arrest him, LaBeouf is accused of running to a nearby hotel.

Once again, actor Shia LaBeouf had been arrested on charges of public drunkenness, this time in Georgia.

His name has since showed up on the Chatham County Sheriff's Office book log.

For those who are counting, this is Shia LaBeouf's fourth arrest for public intoxication.

In January, he was arrested after a scuffle outside a NY museum where he was chanting, "He will not divide us", during a live-streamed protest against President Donald Trump.

The actor was also arrested in January at his anti-Trump art installation, where he was charged with misdemeanour assault.

He was arrested in October 2015 in Austin, Texas, also for being drunk in public and running through the streets of the city.

"He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery", LaBeouf's rep said in a statement.
