Wolfenstein 2: The Freedom Chronicles DLC and Season Pass Unveiled

28 July 2017, 12:32 | Gina Pena

Soon you can step into the courageous soles of a former football player, an assassin and an Army captain, and battle to restore the soul of America in Wolfenstein II: The Freedom Chronicles.

The first of the major content drops will be "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe", which puts players in the shoes of a former quarterback in Chicago, whose mission will take him into space. In this DLC, players will take on the role of an ex-OSS agent Jessica Valiant in an effort to infiltrate Nazi bunkers in California in order to discover and extract intel related to Operation San Andreas.

The season pass will be available for purchase for $25/£18, or can be had for a little bit cheaper with the Wolf 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, which sells for $80/£55/€80, compared to $60/£40/€60 for the standard release. So if you went ahead and reserved a copy of the game for pickup, you'll get this prequel episode that acts as an introduction to the freedom fighters you meet in The Freedom Chronicles. Watch as we run-and-gun (rather, roll-and-gun) through Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus' opening mission, pay a visit to an all-American diner, watch Nazis get cozy with the KKK, cave dive into an enemy stronghold and oh yes - shoot a crapload of dudes in the face. Bethesda will reveal those dates further down the road, along will more details about each piece of DLC. The Episode Zero DLC will also be included as a bonus for anyone who pre-orders the game. You'll meet Joseph Stallion, Jessica Valiant and Gerald Wilkins in this beginning mission before kicking things off with their separate stories.
