"The President has made clear, and as my presence here today demonstrates, America first does not mean America alone", he said.

In a speech at Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, the presidential residence of Estonia, Mr. Pence said he brought a message from Mr. Trump that "we are with you". Biden's visit came shortly after the Obama administration's "reset" policy with Russian Federation, which caused concern among many Europeans that the United States would give Moscow a pass for its invasion of Georgia.

"We Georgians cherish friendship between our two nations, and the enduring values that bind us together", the Prime Minister also said and added that the United States has been "Georgia's premier strategic ally" in the period since it regained independence.

Moscow, whose annexation of Crimea in 2014 prompted USA and European Union sanctions, still has troops stationed in Georgia after a 2008 war over the breakaway region of South Ossetia, backing Georgia's Abkhazia, a region also controlled by pro-Russian separatists.

President of the United States Donald Trump will definitely sign a law on the imposition of sanctions against Russian Federation, for their abolition, Moscow will have to fulfill its obligations, US Vice President Mike Pence said, according to Sputnik News.

"I believe the commitment to freedom and independence between Georgia and USA will only grow strong under your leadership [to Kvirikashvili] and the leadership of Donald Trump", Pence stated.

While in Georgia, Mr. Pence inspected troops taking part in a joint United States-Georgian military exercise, which Mr. Pence called "a visible sign of our commitment to Georgia's sovereignty and to her internationally recognized borders".

The three countries have expressed concerns about Russia's intentions, as have Georgia and the third ally on Pence's itinerary: new North Atlantic Treaty Organisation member Montenegro.

Pence arrived in Tbilisi from Estonia, where he reaffirmed Washington's solidarity with the Baltic nations and accused neighboring Russian Federation of seeking to "redraw global borders" and "undermine democracies".

Mr Lough said he doesn't think it is how Mr Trump wanted his foreign policy to play out.

Earlier, he met the presidents of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for talks on security and regional issues.

Pence will later travel to Montenegro, where he will join leaders from across the Western Balkans for an Adriatic Charter Summit.
