FBI Agents Search Home Of Ex-Trump Campaign Chairman

President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to say his support is stronger than ever
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents seized documents in a raid on a home of former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort last month as the explosive probe into Russia's interference in the 2016 election gains pace.
The use of a search warrant shows law enforcement officials have convinced a judge there is probable cause to believe a crime may have been committed. The Washington Post, which first reported the raid, said it occurred the morning of July 26 at Manafort's home in Alexandria, Va.
Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley, Iowa Republican, last week said he also wants to know if Russians bankrolled the salacious dossier assembled by Fusion GPS previous year and leaked shortly before Mr. Trump took office, Bloomberg reported.
The Washington Post cites only one source - an adviser apparently close to both the White House and Manafort - in its report on the raid, and Manafort's spokesman Jason Maloni confirmed the search warrant. Attorney General Jeff Sessions had recused himself from any investigations into the Trump campaign activities, on grounds that he was part of the campaign himself. The raid came just one day after Manafort met with staffers on the Senate Intelligence Committee, and was not pre-announced.
In addition to the 20,000 pages of documents from the campaign, Trump Jr. turned over about 250 pages on August 4 and Manafort gave the committee 400 pages on August 2, a committee spokesman told Bloomberg. Mueller is using a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C.as part of his probe into Russian Federation.

U.S. markets fell on Wednesday morning, spooked by rising tension between the United States and North Korea. Travel companies Priceline.com and TripAdvisor also weighed on markets, with shares falling more than 7%.
The Trump campaign last week turned over about 20,000 pages of documents to the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is conducting its own Russian Federation probe, committee spokesman George Hartmann said Tuesday.
It remains unclear what, if any, evidence the Federal Bureau of Investigation will find that ties Manafort to a wider effort by Russians to influence the 2016 election, but it signals the agency's willingness to leave no stone unturned. He has also cooperated with congressional committees investigating the election interference.
