iPhone 8 Arrives
Today, we have jotted down the list of good and bad features in iOS 11. Yet this time Canada's largest city has put out a notice to its citizens urging them not to test out one of Apple's new iOS 11 features.
It's been possible to record your screen on iOS for some time, using a computer via a cable, but iOS 11 has built screen recording into the software itself.
Apple's iMessage-based mobile payments service, powered by Apple Pay, also will arrive this fall for iOS 11 and watchOS 4, the company said.
Thanks to the new Control Centre and Force Touch, your flashlight app just got a lot more functional.
The iOS 11 Control Center looks great, but apparently, its buttons for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features do not work the way that most users would think they do.
Apple's new iOS 11 packs a variety of new capabilities and features under the hood.
Arguably the coolest addition to iOS 11 is the ability to actually make the operating system's Control Center app really, really useful.
The iPhone Control Centre has been redesigned in iOS 11 to allowing for customized controls. The same goes for Wi-Fi in the case of the recent Broadpwn set of bugs, which affected the iPhone and most Android devices and made it unsafe to leave the Wi-Fi auto-connect feature enabled. Instead, users will have to open their Settings app and toggle the features off individually. Now press and hold on the globe icon and choose the icon that shifts your keyboard to the left or right depending on your preference.
While the toggles in the new Control Center, which is activated by swiping up on a device, let you activate the flashlight, adjust the brightness, and perform other functions, it seems switching off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth from this screen doesn't completely turn them off. However, unlike the email issue, Apple says that this is not a bug and is intentional so that users can continue to connect their iPhone or iPad for AirDrop, AirPlay, Apple Pencil, Apple Watch, Hotspot, and Location Services in the background.
The function comes into effect when the device is hooked up to a auto through Bluetooth, the website says, or it can "autodetect when you're driving based on your location and accelerometers".
Wolf Sees Downgrade Without Budget Deal Soon
It went nowhere in the General Assembly because Republicans can never raise taxes, even to pay off the debt they created. They said the Treasury should let the state keep spending despite the funding gap, because "revenue is still coming in".
Man Charged in 1992 Murder of Lisa Ziegert
The clerk who arrived at work the next morning found the store open, the lights on and Ziegert's vehicle still in the parking lot. Lisa Ziegert was abducted on April 15, 1992, while working her second job at a card shop in Agawam.
