Harrison Ford Still Playing Hero ... Helps Woman Who Drove Off Highway

Harrison Ford is known for his leading roles in many hit franchises.

TMZ says he helped a woman who drove her auto off the highway Sunday morning in Santa Paula, CA, crashing into an embankment. The actor - who is known for his courageous, heroic roles in movies like Star Wars and Indiana Jones - did not hesitate to rush to the woman's side.

TMZ reports that eyewitnesses saw Harrison driving behind the stranger when she lost control of her auto and wound up crashing into an embankment right off the freeway.

According to USA Today, the sedan had rolled down the embankment and hit a tree, so this wasn't any minor accident. They headed over to the scene to help, and along with others, they were able to help the woman out of the auto.
