GETTYNearly 30,000 US troops are deployed in the South to repel an invasion by North Korea

"Currently, the North Korean troops are conducting ordinary field exercises", a South Korean military official said in a briefing, according to Yonhap. Usually, the North's winter training runs until April. The United States has said that all options, including military, are on the table to deal with North Korea, although its preference is for a diplomatic solution.

Meanwhile, three USA aircraft carriers - the USS Ronald Reagan, USS Theodore Roosevelt and USS Nimitz - sailed off the Korean Peninsula on Monday in a massive show of force against Kim Jong Un's regime as part four days of drills that end Tuesday.

Three U.S. aircraft carriers steam in formation in the East Sea, leading South Korean and U.S. warships during the allies' joint naval exercise on November 12, 2017, in this photo provided by South Korea's Navy. This marked the first time three ships of this size have sailed together in the region in a decade.

"Trump has flown to South Korea as he seeks to strengthen military threats against us and has an intention to light the fuse for a nuclear war", North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmum said.

Along with the three carrier groups, he said the US has reactivated round-the-clock sorties with nuclear-capable B-52 strategic bombers "which existed during the Cold War times".

IPhone X Users Report Annoying Earpiece 'Crackling' Sounds
Earlier this month the auto correct issue emerged when people updated their phones to version 11.1 of the iOS operating system. For reference, the current iPhone X has a 5.8-inch OLED display, whereas the iPhone 8 Plus has a display size of 5.5 inches.

The drills occurred as President Donald Trump wrapped up a 12-day trip across Asia, in which the North Korean threat was at the top of his agenda. The weapons you're acquiring are not making you safer, they are putting your regime in grave danger. That includes a stern speech delivered in South Korea's National Assembly on Tuesday, in which he said: "Do not underestimate us".

But Pyongyang doesn't seem interested in negotating.

It's odd, one minute Kim is talking about nuclear war, testing missiles, then he calls Trump "old".

He also said Chinese President Xi Jinping was "upping sanctions" against North Korea in response to its nuclear and missile programs.

President Donald Trump fired back at North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Twitter Sunday by sarcastically saying that he would never call him "short and fat" after the dictator said that Trump was an "old" person.
