Saudi Arabia will 'reopen Yemen airports, seaports' after harsh criticism about humanitarian disaster
The Saudi-led coalition carried out two air strikes on the defence ministry in Yemen's rebel-held capital Sanaa late Friday, witnesses and rebel media said, without reporting casualties.
A number of houses were also reportedly damaged in the strike.
This week, UN aid chief Mark Lowcock warned the Security Council (UNSC) that Yemen would face "the largest starvation the world has seen for many decades, with millions of victims", unless the blockade was lifted.
Saudi Arabia and its allies intervened in neighbouring Yemen in March 2015, with the stated aim of rolling back Huthi rebel gains and restoring the government of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi to power.
Iran denies it supplies arms to the Houthis but has said the missile was a reaction to Saudi "aggression".
