Bryan Singer's firing comes not only after he unexpectedly disappeared from the Bohemian Rhapsody set several times, but also after he reportedly has numerous clashes with the movie's main star, Rami Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury.

'This was a very taxing experience which ultimately took a serious toll on my own health.

Bryan Singer has been fired from the Queen biopic, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Additionally, Singer claimed that while he and Malek did have "creative differences" at points during the shoot, they'd been settled by the time Singer was relieved of his duties as director.

Remember the old days - back in that enchanted time of, oh, about three or four years ago - when hearing about a director getting fired from a movie was something of a rarity in Hollywood? Singer had been warned by the studio before production began that they wouldn't tolerate any unprofessional behavior on his part - Singer's reputation precedes him, and he'd apparently gone MIA on two other sets prior to this one.

"Twentieth Century Fox Film has temporarily halted production on Bohemian Rhapsody due to the unexpected unavailability of Bryan Singer". Which left Sigel having to step in to continue shooting.

Singer reportedly failed to return to the set after their Thanksgiving holiday break which resulted in the production suspension and now his termination by Fox. But when Singer did not return to set after the Thanksgiving break and instead stayed in the US, the studio made a decision to jettison him from the project. Tom Hollander, who plays Queen manager Jim Beach, also had a problem with Singer's behavior that he quit the project before but was persuaded to return and finish the movie.

It's said that Singer was suffering from post-traumatic stress due to the incidents that happened on the set of the film.

"The full cast of the film was revealed shortly after, with 'X-Men Apocalypse" s Ben Hardy playing drummer Roger Taylor, 'The Tourist" s Gwilym Lee portraying Brian May and 'Jurassic Park" s Joe Mazzello taking the role of bass guitarist John Deacon. At this rate, the film's initial release date of December 2018 might see this movie becoming one of the greats of the next decade.
