Reports: Syrian Army Intercepts Missiles Near Damascus

Israeli missiles hit military post near Damascus – Syrian state TV

Two missiles were intercepted, according to the Syrian State TV, but the base suffered material damages, he extent of which is still not clear.

The spokesperson for the Israeli military declined to comment on reports of the attack.

On November 10, the BBC reported that Iran had established a compound at a site used by the Syrian army outside Al-Kiswa. The incident reportedly occurred Friday night, with IDF planes attacking the Iranian base at al-Kiswah, south of Damascus. A recent report in a Kuwaiti newspaper included a statement from Israeli officials who said that the government had vowed to destroy any Iranian positions within 40 km of the northern border with Syria.
