Over the first few days of the search, police received reports that they were seen traveling along Interstate 95 in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Law enforcement officials had issued a nationwide alert for her and Rian Rodriguez, who had been tracked through an ATM withdrawal in Georgia on Sunday and by surveillance cameras at convenience stores in SC and North Carolina.

Rodriguez is now being held in a NY jail and faces a charge of interfering with the custody of a minor.

According to WJAX, Frisina and Rodriguez were located Friday in North Syracuse, New York.

Frisina's parents say he's also a family friend.

A missing child alert had been issued for Caitlyn Frisina. The officer reportedly detained Rodriguez without incident. Security camera footage from a Fayetteville pawn shop appears to show Caitlyn. As of Friday, the teen was being held in police custody until a reunion with her family could be arranged. But I absolutely believe that she was lied to and totally misled.

The officer stopped the vehicle in Syracuse, New York.

17-year-old Caitlyn Frisina is believed to have left her home in Columbia County voluntarily sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning and was reported missing by her parents, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

"She's with a person who is 10 years her senior in a supervisory capacity over her as a coach", Hunter said. First Coast News was told he was sacked for not showing up to work.
