USA could use some 'good old global warming' during cold snap

President Donald Trump waves to supporters as

In response, the president's critics wasted no time giving Trump a reality check.

Donald Trump has derided climate change saying that the East Coast "could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming" as bitterly cold temperatures are expected to freeze large swaths of the country this holiday weekend. "Bundle up!", said Trump further, his tone high on the mock-meter.

Trump has denied the existence of global warming for years, including failing to acknowledge when scientists instead began referring to it as "climate change" in order to better describe the issue.

"In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year's Eve on record".

This, of course, to say nothing of the fact that global warming impacts the climate, not the weather.

President Of Miss America Organization Resigns Amid Scandal
Miss America announced on Friday that they would suspend Haskell pending an investigation into the emails where he joked about contestant's being "c-ts" and called women "huge" and "gross".

The Trump administration has been a frequent skeptic of climate change science and rolled back initiatives to combat climate change, including withdrawing from the Paris climate accord. "Groan - you really understand climate change, don't you.?" one Twitter user wondered. Trump also told the Times he wasn't anxious about the uncertainty concerning when the Mueller investigation might be concluded.

"THAT'S NOT WHAT THAT MEANS!" another tweet read.

He has previously tweeted that the concept of global warming was "created by and for the Chinese in order to make United States manufacturing non-competitive".

And just hours before Trump tweeted, the Capital Weather Gang, the weather arm of the Washington Post, posted that the U.S. will be the coldest region in the world "relative to normal" over the next week. "Do you even know what climate is?!" an additional tweet stated. "Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!". The negative reaction continued as Donald Trump's attempt at trolling appeared to backfire.
