Cardinals QB Carson Palmer announces retirement
Palmer, who spent the past five seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, said he "just know [s]" its time for him to hang the up. Those are details that I know fade with time. Palmer played 14 seasons in the National Football League (7 with Cincinnati, 2 with Oakland, 5 with Arizona) where he played in 182 regular season games but made the playoffs just 3 times (4 games).
Doctors all set to go on 12-hour strike
The doctors are opposing this new NMC bill, said that the passing of this bill will be the black day in the medical history. The bill has provisions that would adversely affect the health sector and medical education in the country, he alleged.
Palmer made two starts in the playoffs for the Cardinals, winning one game and losing the 2015 NFC Championship to the Carolina Panthers.
Quarterback Carson Palmer, the 2002 Heisman Trophy victor and No. 1 pick in the 2003 draft, has announced his retirement after 15 seasons. He played seven games for the Cardinals in 2017, and threw for 7 touchdowns with 9 interceptions before being injured. Despite being the Heisman Trophy victor in 2002 and the top pick, the Bengals opted to sit Palmer for his entire rookie year, as he learned from the coaches and veteran quarterback Jon Kitna. But in October, the Oakland Raiders, desperate for a starting quarterback after an injury to Jason Campbell, offered first- and second-round picks, and the Bengals agreed to the deal.
After two seasons with the Raiders Palmer was traded to the Cardinals in 2013 and played five seasons with the team.
