Authorities in Charleston, South Carolina, said they found a 4-year-old girl, who went missing Tuesday during a home invasion where her mother was found brutally beaten, in Riverside, Alabama. According to the Post & Courier, the school called police and when officers reached the Todd home they found the mother badly beaten, and two other children unharmed in the house.
We're told the missing girl's mother has been taken to a local hospital.
"What could have been a day of great tragedy has turned out to be a day of great joy", Tecklenburg said. As she was entering her home, she was attacked from behind by a man who had a knife, court records state. A private citizen offered another $10,000, WCVI reported. The suspect told the judge he had been released from jail fourteen days ago.
