Michelle has now come to terms with her new voice

Alamia says, "I don't feel like a different person at all. I realize it's part of me now".

"Everybody only sees or hears Mary Poppins", Myers told KNXV.

After eight days, during which she hid at home, feeling self-conscious, Michelle's voice returned to normal.

But in 2014, it happened again. "I guess you still have it in your head". "One morning, I woke up and it wasn't so bad".

Previously, Myers has woken up with Australian and Irish accents which lasted for weeks before fading.

"I thought doctors would think I was insane".

But a year later, a third incident changed Michelle's life completely.

Attack on Indian Army Camp in Kashmir Reportedly Leaves 2 Troops Killed
Singh said, "You should be rest assured that Army and security forces are giving a befitting reply to the attack". The authorities already closed all schools and restricted movement of people within 500 meters from the camp.

She says it is difficult to listen back to how she used to be is hard adding that she really misses the way she used to say her kids' names. "My eyesight went amusing". She rested her eyes for a few minutes and woke up with a sharp pain on her left side.

"I thought doctors would think I was insane", Myers said. "It was like I couldn't process words". Myers, a former Texas beauty queen, has never left the United States, making these accent changes after she fell asleep with a headache especially perplexing. In one case, an American started to sound Russian. She also likes painting, writing, and motivating people. They sent in a psychiatrist, who put Myers through a series of tests.

"I believe everything happens for a reason, so, maybe this happened because it helps me to break the ice with people", she said.

Doctors determined that the mom of seven has a rare condition known as Foreign Accent Syndrome, according to news station KNXV.

Meyers wants to make clear she's not faking it or insane.

A pounding migraine headache is a pretty terrible experience. The syndrome is a group of disorders that affect connective tissues supporting the skin, bones, blood vessels and many other organs and tissues. Her doctors even seemed surprised.

"Some people think it's physiological; others think it's psychological", Myers was quoted as saying in the report. I named my son, Tyler, but I pronounce his name completely differently now. "The person I am now has been through so much compared to this person". While the origins of her condition aren't now clear other than the connection to a chronic illness, she honestly doesn't care where the accent changes came from - only that she receives the help that she needs. And it wasn't the first time. It's not clear if this has any connection with her accent change. She felt like a different person and it took her some time to define her identity.
