The pregnant mother of the two kids killed was taken to the hospital in critical condition

The other child - the four-year-old daughter of Tony Award-winner Ruthie Ann Miles - was run over and died, while her pregnant mother was also injured in the devastating wreck, sources said.

At around 12:40 p.m. local time, the driver of a white 2016 Volvo S60 - identified by news organizations as 44-year-old Dorothy Bruns - struck the pedestrians at the intersection of Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue.

Her 4-year-old daughter, Abigail, was killed on impact, reported Hawaii News Now. "EMS also responded to the scene and removed all four pedestrians to Methodist Hospital where the children, a 4-year-old female and a 1-year-old male, were pronounced deceased". Miles, in her 7th month of pregnancy was brought to the hospital in critical condition and is now said to be stable.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched for Ruthie Ann Miles to help with expenses following the tragedy. She is reportedly claiming to have had a seizure. Blumenstein, who is pregnant, was walking with friend Lauren Lew, who had 1-year-old Joshua in a stroller. She was critically injured in the incident, and it is not known if her unborn child survived.

The page reads, "These contributions will go to Ruthie and her family".
