There was a massive, unthinkable come-from-behind win in the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday, and it wasn't Manchester City over Liverpool.

The Giallorossi overturned a 4-1 first-leg deficit with a deserved 3-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico as Edin Dzeko, captain De Rossi and Kostas Manolas found the net to dump Barca out via the away goals rule.

De Rossi who scored an own goal in the first leg converted the resulting spot-kick as the tie was thrown open.

Any lingering questions over who would advance to the last four were ended 13 minutes from the end when Firmino robbed a sloppy Nicolas Otamendi and slotted past Ederson.

"It's hard [to keep calm] when you score the third goal, and the third goal obviously brings you the semifinal, but [Di Francesco] was clever, there were still 10 minutes to play, with added time nearly 15 minutes to play and we know what Barcelona can do, not just in 15 minutes but in one minute", Dzeko said. I was expecting something like that but I liked the reaction immediately after that.

Barcelona's decline in recent years has often been masked by their impressive ability to continue to pick up silverware each season-something Messi should take plenty of credit for-but they're perhaps no longer the force they once were on the pitch and rely too heavily on their talisman. I was not overly happy at half-time to be honest.

Hockey: Pakistan to take on India in CWG 2018 on Saturday
In fact, he won two gold medals in junior and senior categories and setting a couple of records. The Indian Hockey team gave away the lead in the dying moments against Pakistan to draw 2-2.

"It's a painful way to go out because no one expected it with the lead we had", he added. The first leg showed us Barcelona had a lot of quality, but not as much as a few years ago. City objected strongly and as the teams came off for halftime their manager Pep Guardiola's protests resulted in him being sent to the stands for the second half.

"I feel bad because we wanted to reach the semifinal, but we didn't deserve it today. Whenever people see the things, he will decide the opposite".

Sergio Busquets had no complaints as Barcelona were dumped out of the Champions League on Wednesday, stunned by a Roma side who the midfielder conceded were better in every way.

Roma took just six minutes to get the ball rolling thanks to Edin Dzeko's neat control and finish.

Roma's Kostas Manolas headed the decisive third goal in the 82nd minute, putting the Italians in the semi-finals for the first time since they reached the European Cup final in 1984 and making amends for his own goal in the first leg at the Nou Camp.
