"Generally, expect a coating - 2" across the area, with an isolated 3" amount possible at the south coast, west of Buzzards Bay, back into southern RI and CT.
Hard travel conditions are possible during morning and evening commutes with reduced visibility. By Wednesday morning, snow accumulations are likely, with the highest totals in the north. Snow showers will wrap up later on Wednesday with several inches possible in northern communities, and amounts tapering to the south.
