Ronaldo Sets Champions League Outfield Appearances Record

Liverpool's Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah, has expressed his displeasure after his image rights dispute with the Egyptian Football Association (EFA).

Egypt opens World Cup competition in June.

The Liverpool winger appears in a team photo on Egypt's official plane, provided by official sponsor WE.

Mohamed Salah will not face disciplinary action for his clash with Stoke's Bruno Martins Indi at the weekend, according to multiple reports. The sponsor is WE, which is a direct conflict with Salah's sponsorship deal with rival telecoms giant Vodafone.

An initial hint of major discord came on April 20, when Salah's representative Ramy Abbas Issa tweeted "we are having a very serious issue with the Egyptian Football Association".

On Saturday, Salah's agent Rammy Abbas took to Twitter to comment on the situation, writing: "We have not even been contacted for a resolution! I was hoping the handling (of the dispute) would be classier than this", Salah tweeted Sunday.

According to the EFA's official statement, Abou-Rida declared they will solve any problem that is bothering the player who guided Egypt to their first World Cup since 1990.

"Mohamed Salah is an example for Egypt's youth who love and are loyal to their homeland and he is representing his country overseas in the best image".

"We were promised a solution and God willing the issue is on its way to being resolved", the midfield maestro tweeted late Sunday, while thanking his fans for their "unreal" support. "Complete silence! What's the plan?!"

The public is siding with their Liverpool hero and on social media Salah's tweet went viral, followed by a Twitter hashtag #Support_Mohamed_Salah.
