Sears stock is skyrocketing on news of a new Amazon partnership
Here's how it works: Amazon customers select their tires, the Sears Auto location and their preferred date and time for the tire installation.
Information of this venture delivered Sears' inventory soaring up to 22 per cent in ancient trading. The program will begin at 47 locations, but Sears says it has plans to roll it out to every Auto Center around the country.
Sears Holdings Corp's new deal will have it handling tire installation and balancing for Amazon customers.
The chosen Sears automobile Center will then meet with the customer's schedule preferences with its appointment openings.
The retailer branded the initiative as an expansion of its relationship with Amazon.
